We are looking for a copy editor to edit and proofread a wide variety of content for our public-facing audiences.
Working as a member of the Creative Services team, which provides design, photography and production services across Kew, this post will provide support for a variety of teams, including marketing, events and public programming, membership and fundraising, licensing and retail, digital experience and interpretation. The job holder will proofread and edit all materials being produced by Creative Studio, interacting with staff at all levels. They will play a key role in ensuring that we communicate effectively and consistently to our audiences, in keeping with our world-class standards, and specifically our editorial and tone of voice guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a science degree and must have considerable editorial experience in publishing or the equivalent working on different types of content and media. They will be highly organised, confident and diplomatic in delivering feedback to writers and content producers.
This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary for this position is £38,100 - £43,751 per annum, depending on skills and experience [Band D]
